Pick a base theme to start from, tweak the colours and font, save it under a name. Custom themes appear in the Appearance tab alongside the built-ins.
Toggle individual filters / sort controls on or off. Hidden controls don't reset their state — they're just out of sight. Use this to declutter the toolbar to taste; turn each one back on whenever you want it.
Names that appear in the chevron menu next to each image's title (Game Details modal, picture preview, gallery lightbox). Drag to reorder, click the × to remove, or type a new name + Enter to add.

Download a spreadsheet of your game catalog — titles, publishers, years, tags, box dimensions, and image counts — for backup, migration, or re-integration.
Images and DOS game bundles are not included. Those are byte blobs that live in the per-game storage folders; this file is the catalog only.

Browse not working?
to re-download the boxperfect:// installer.
The deployed BoxArts page can launch your local game executables,
but it needs a one-time helper on your computer — a tiny URL
handler that turns boxperfect://launch?path=… clicks
from the browser into os.startfile calls on your
machine.
How it works: click Download installer
below. You'll get a small ZIP (BoxPerfect-Local-Setup.zip).
Unzip it, then double-click setup.bat. Windows
may prompt for permission — that's UAC asking before the
registry edit. Once that's done, Play buttons on the deployed
page will launch your games. Nothing in the bundle calls home.
Requirements: Windows + Python 3.10+ on PATH. Install from python.org if you don't have it (tick "Add Python to PATH" during install).

Commands inside [autoexec] run on DOSBox boot.
A typical sequence is mount c . → c:
→ the game's executable. Edit when the auto-detected boot
path doesn't work, or when the game needs multiple files
called (e.g. SETUP.EXE then GAME.EXE).
Every DOSBox .conf setting we don't surface on
the main Settings page, grouped by section. Most users
never need to touch these. Empty fields inherit the
bundle's default — no override stored.

Amiga games need a Kickstart ROM from the machine they were written for. BoxArts can't distribute these (Cloanto copyright), so upload the ones you own — from Amiga Forever or dumped from your own hardware. Most games need 3.1 (A1200 / A4000). A500 titles need 1.3.
WHDLoad games (the standard distribution for HD-installed Amiga games) boot into Workbench 3.1. Upload the six install disks from Amiga Forever here — same licensing rule as Kickstart ROMs. All six must be present before a game can be uploaded.
